Have it Your Way was designed for LYS Day 2023. Alexandra created “The Jewel Collection,” a set of 5 Yak minis (4 colors) made out of a gorgeous blend of Superwash Merino, Yak, and Nylon in fingering weight. The minis are 87 yards each, one color has two skeins, for a total of 435 yds. Click here to purchase a kit or call your Local Yarn Shop!
The pattern has both a hat and a cowl. There are 4 colorways and 2 motifs. One looks like ribbons and the other looks like mountains. The kit is enough to make one or the other. The pattern is charted in each of the 4 colorways.
The hats fit heads 19”-20”, 21”-22”, and 23”
The cowls are 12” tall and 17”, 19”, and 21” circumference.
For the smaller sizes, there is extra of Color A (two skeins) to play with the length of ribbing on the hat and cowl.
I give you options for easy to more challenging cast on or bind offs and shot videos for Multiple Techniques:
- Tubular Cast On
- K1P1 Cast on
- Stranded Colorwork
- Weave in as you Knit
